We’re thrilled to share some big news with our Brooklyn community — [salon]718 is officially opening a brand-new location in Boerum Hill.
This expansion is especially meaningful to us. [salon]718 began in the basement of a brownstone right here in Brooklyn, and over the years, we’ve grown into a team of over 100 talented artists, educators, and support staff. Many of our team members are women and minorities building strong, sustainable careers in the beauty industry — and we’re proud to play a part in that journey. Our new Boerum Hill location continues that mission.
At [salon]718, we don’t just hire stylists; we train them, mentor them, and help them grow through a team-based salon model. That means every guest receives a consistent, elevated experience — no matter who they see. Our team works collaboratively, supporting one another through ongoing education in technical skills, hospitality, and even financial literacy.
This new space allows us to bring even more of that education-first, people-first approach to the neighborhood.
And at its heart, this opening is about Brooklyn.
Our community has been with us from the very beginning, and expanding within the borough is our way of staying rooted while continuing to grow.
